Comedy show set Oct. 8

3:28 p.m., Sept. 29, 2005--Katt “Money Mike” Williams, Michael Blackson and Deon Cole will put offbeat humor in the spotlight in a performance set for 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at Mitchell Hall.

Guest performers in UD’s Cultural Programming Advisory Board’s annual Homecoming comedy show, Williams, Blackson and Cole are known for their unique takes on contemporary urban-American culture and have appeared on national television comedy shows, including HBO’s Uptown Comedy Hour and BET’s Comic View Grandstand Competition.

Doors for the Saturday evening performance open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door for UD students with valid IDs, $15 in advance and $20 at the door for all others. Advance tickets can be purchased at both UD box offices and Ticketmaster outlets, where a convenience charge may apply.
