Celebrate College Colors Day Friday

11:57 a.m., Aug. 31, 2005--Blue Hens--as the school year begins and the football season starts--here’s a new opportunity to show your school spirit and pride in UD on College Colors Day, Friday, Sept. 2. Students, alumni, football fans and future Blue Hens are invited to show their True Blue allegiance by wearing UD clothing on College Colors Day.

To help kick off the new national collegiate celebration, the UD Bookstore is offering 20 percent off on any one item of UD clothing on Thursday, Sept. 1.

Several schools are participating in College Color Days through the Collegiate Licensing Company, and it is suggested that companies and offices encourage their employees to have a “dress down” day and wear their school colors with pride on Friday, Sept. 2.
