Workshops offer resources for job-seekers

3:37 p.m., Sept. 21, 2005--Resume-writing and interviewing workshops, lectures by vice presidents and recruiters from local businesses and job and volunteer fairs are among the events offered by UD’s MBNA Career Services Center this fall.

Designed to help students prepare for the post-graduation job market, summer internships and part-time jobs between classes, the workshops, resume clinics, job fairs and lectures offer tips and tools to help students maintain an edge in the competitive job market.

Workshops are offered on a rolling basis, to ensure that all students who wish to attend can do so, and several programs are geared specifically for engineering, international, pregraduate school and other special-interest students.

All workshops, lectures and fairs are free and open to UD students. For a complete list of daily events through October, visit the Career Services Center’s web site at [www.udel.edu/csc].
