NYC, Orioles, Rockettes, rafting trips offered

11:50 a.m., Aug. 29, 2005--UD’s Student Centers will host trips to New York City, an Orioles-Red Sox baseball game and a white-water rafting excursion this fall.

The centers’ fall schedule includes four Saturday trips to New York City--open-itinerary trips on Oct. 15, Oct. 29 and Dec. 3 and a Nov. 12 trip when passengers can choose between open itinerary or the Rockettes Christmas Show at Rockefeller Center.

The white-water rafting trip is limited to full-time undergrads only; others are open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests. Visit [www.udel.edu/student-centers/AandP/programs/bustrips.html] for more information on these excursions:

  • Baltimore Orioles versus Boston Red Sox at Camden Yards in Baltimore, departing at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23. Cost is $15 with UD identification;
  • New York City open-itinerary Saturday excursions on Oct. 15 and 29 and Dec. 3. Full-time undergraduate students pay $30; all others with UD identification and their guests pay $35;
  • New York City open-itinerary trip with an optional show package for the Rockettes Christmas Show. The bus-only tour is $25 for full-time undergraduate students and $35 for others. The bus-plus-show package costs $80 for undergraduate students and $100 for others; and
  • A white-water rafting trip to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Gorge State Park, limited to full-time undergraduate students, is scheduled for 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. The $65 cost includes lunch.
