Free WNIT game tickets to first 100 UD students 3:17 p.m., March 15, 2005--The first 100 University of Delaware students to arrive at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center for the Womens National Invitation Tournament game on Thursday night will get in free with a valid UD identification card. The second 100 UD students will be admitted for just $1 apiece, cash only. For those who would prefer to purchase tickets in advance, the cost is $6 for UD students and $9 for adults. Tickets are available at the box offices at The Bob and at the Trabant University Center. The game will feature the 25-5 Fightin Blue Hens, Colonial Athletic Association regular season champions and tournament runners-up, against 19-10 St. Johns University of the Big East Conference. Tip off will be at 7 p.m., and the doors will open at 5:30. The Student Activities Office will sponsor a special shuttle bus to The Bob for the WNIT game, running continuously starting at 6:15 p.m. and continuing until one hour after the game ends. The loop will begin at the Perkins Student Center at 6:15, and the loop stops are, in order, Perkins Student Center, University Courtyard, School Lane Garden Apartments, Smith Overpass, Ray Street, Pencader, Christiana Towers, Rodney/Dickinson, Towne Court Apartments and South College Avenue, in front of the Delaware Field House.
