Breakfast bonanza for faculty and staff 4:18 p.m., Aug. 31, 2005--Faculty and staff are invited to join Dining Services new Breakfast Club with special breakfast cards that entitle members to a free breakfast after the card has been stamped five times in UD dining halls. Faculty and staff can start off the day with a delicious, all-you-can eat breakfast at Rodney, Russell, Pencader or Kent dining halls, including juice, beverages, fruit, pastries, bagels, cereals, eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, cottage cheese and rotating entrées from pancakes to French toast--all for just $4.80. This is one more way of extending dining hall services to the campus community, according to Sue Bogan, director of Dining Services. Besides being a great value, she said, the breakfast card makes it easier for members of the campus community to get together and meet over breakfast. Its also an opportunity for offices and departments to meet for breakfast, either before work or during breaks, Bogan said. Dining hall hours Mondays through Fridays are: Rodney, 7-9:30 a.m.; Russell, 7-10:30 a.m.; Pencader 7-9:30 a.m.; and Kent 7:30-10:30 a.m. The breakfast cards, which expire May 31, will be distributed to offices across campus and also will be available from dining hall cashiers in September. Cards also are available by calling (302) 831-6761 or sending e-mail to [diningservices@udel.edu]. To learn how to subscribe to UDaily, click here. |
