Campus book drive under way 3:23 p.m., Oct. 7, 2005--UDs MBNA Career Services Center, in partnership with Success Wont Wait Inc., is spearheading a book drive during October, culminating with Make a Difference Day on Oct. 22. The books that are collected will be donated to hospitals, schools, doctors offices, assisted-living facilities and youth centers. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to drop off used books at the designated book drops, near the information desks, in either the Perkins Student Center, Trabant University Center or at the Career Services Center. Book boxes will be clearly marked. Kids books, classics, teen favorites, paperback, hardbacks are all welcome. No textbooks, magazines or encyclopedias please. Success Wont Wait is the brainchild of UD alum Susan McNeill and sophomore Vincenza Carrieri-Russo, with help from her brother, senior Italo Carrieri-Russo, and other family members.
