Blue Cross-duPont Hospital renew contract 5:15 p.m., Aug. 22, 2005--Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Delaware and Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington have reached an agreement to continue services for Blue Cross subscribers who use the hospital and its physicians. As a result, University employees and their dependents enrolled in Blue Cross may continue to receive services at the hospital and use its physicians beyond the end of the current contract, which expires Sunday, Aug. 28. The new agreement runs through 2008 with an option to extend it through 2009.
