Symphonic Band in concert April 23
3:15 p.m., April 19, 2005--UD’s Department of Music presents its Symphonic Band in concert at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.
Directed by Heidi Sarver, associate professor of music at UD, the concert will feature a mix of standard and contemporary concert band literature. Selections include music by Alfred Reed, Haydn Wood, Samuel Hazo and Henry Fillmore.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
