Ballroom dance lessons begin July 19, 20

4:05 p.m., June 29, 2005--The University of Delaware Ballroom Dance Team will hold six weeks of classes in Latin, swing and ballroom dancing Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 and 7 p.m., starting July 19 and 20, at the Carpenter Sports Building on North College Ave.

Tuesday classes are for beginners, Wednesdays for intermediate learners and include the waltz, foxtrot, swing, salsa, cha-cha, rumba and tango.

The team asks that students arrive at least 15 minutes early on the first night to accommodate registration.

Six-week session prices are $45 for the general public and $25 for full-time students. Those who take two classes during the same session get a discount on the second class.

No refunds will be made after the second week of classes.

Private lessons and wedding choreography are available upon request.
