Concert showcases faculty musicians Sept. 14 2:27 p.m., Aug. 31, 2004--The 15th annual opening gala concert for UD’s Department of Music is set for 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Loudis Recital Hall in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building. The concert, which is sponsored by the Department of Music, will feature faculty musicians Christine Delbeau and Julie Nishimura, pianists; Marie Robinson, soprano; Jay Hildebrandt, trombonist; Harvey Price, marimbist; Eileen Grycky, flutist; Christiaan Taggart, guitarist; Lloyd Shorter, oboist; Charles Salinger, clarinetist; Lawrence Stomberg, cellist; and the UD Faculty Jazz Ensemble. Admission is $3 for students, $7 for seniors and $10 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
