Family Fun Day set Aug. 14 at Blue & Gold Club 1:21 p.m., July 27, 2004--UD’s Blue & Gold Club is celebrating summer vacation with a Family Fun Day picnic-style event on Saturday, Aug. 14. Geared for families with kids on the loose from school, the event runs from 1-5 p.m. and features an array of summertime favorites, including grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, chicken fingers, corn on-the-cob and ice cream bars, as well as new twists like grilled swordfish and chilled strawberry soup for more adventurous palates. The cost is $16.50 for adults and $8.50 for children, 5-11. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (302) 831-2582.
