Presentations Deborah Wilson, assistant professor of nursing, Designing and Implementing Cultural Diversity and Competency Training Using a Train the Trainer Model, at Professional Nursing Education Group annual conference, Oct. 29, Atlanta. Valerie Hans, professor of sociology and criminal justice, was interviewed Jan. 27 on National Public Radios All Things Considered about the retrial of former Tyco International executives whose first trial ended in a hung jury. Frank B. Murray, H. Rodney Sharp Professor of Political Science and International Relations, an invited presentation, Initiatives in Teacher Education, at Council of Independent Colleges presidents meeting, Jan. 7, Marco Island, Fla. Service John H. Talley, director and state geologist, Delaware Geological Survey, was appointed by Delaware Gov. Ruth Ann Minner and U.S. Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton to serve a two-year term as Delawares representative on Interiors Outer Continental Shelf Policy committee. The committee gives policy advice to the secretary. Betty Fiske, adjunct assistant professor of art conservation, participated in a meeting of the International Network for Conservation of Contemporary Art (INCCA), Dec. 10-11, in Los Angeles to discuss the continued use of the INCCA database developed in the Netherlands.
