Arts grant deadlines set

4:41 p.m., Jan. 6, 2005--The Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) has released updated guidelines and application materials for all of its grant programs for the 2006 fiscal year.

Those eligible to apply for DDOA grants to support their art activities include Delaware artists, nonprofit arts and community organizations, government agencies and schools.

Upcoming deadlines for grant applications are:

  • Opportunity Grants for organizations and individuals, Feb. 7;
  • Major grants for nonprofit arts and community organizations, March 1; and
  • Individual Artist Fellowships, Aug. 15.

A branch of the Delaware Department of State, DDOA works to promote and develop the arts throughout the state.

Grant guidelines, applications and instructions are available at [www.artsdel.org/grants]. DDOA staff members are available to answer questions and assist in the applications process. Appointments may be scheduled with a staff member by calling (302) 577-8278 (from New Castle County) or (302) 739-5304 (from Kent and Sussex counties).
