Jazz recital set March 16

11:10 a.m., March 12, 2004--UD’s Department of Music presents Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Ensemble II in concert, under the direction of Tom Palmer, at 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

Music to be performed includes a transcription of Duke Ellington's "Harlem Airshaft," Thad Jones’ "Groove Merchant" and Pat Metheny's "Better Days Ahead."

Admission is $10 for adults; $7 for seniors and $3 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
