Lord of the Dance visits The Bob May 8

5 p.m., April 8, 2004--After touring Japan, South Africa and Europe, the “Lord of the Dance” dance troupe will touch down at the Bob Carpenter Center for a 7:30 p.m. performance on Saturday, May 8.

Showcasing traditional Irish dance and music, the high-energy performance will include original jigs and reels, as well as dance master Michael Flatley’s signature choreographic flourishes.

Considered by many as one of the world’s most graceful athletes, Flatley is recognized for broadening the appeal of Irish dance, as well as for shaping its future with complex patterns and precision steps.

Tickets are $47.50 and $57.50, and are on sale at UD box offices in The Bob and the Trabant University Center, as well as through Ticketmaster. For more information, call 831-4012.
