Gospel concert set Nov. 22

4:08 p.m., Nov. 21, 2003--An intercollegiate gospel concert featuring several UD groups is set for 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, in Pearson Hall.

Entitled “United in Praise,” the concert will showcase the talents of UD’s Gospel Choir; Vision, an cappella group; and the Dark Arts Performing Dance Company. The concert also will include performances by Temple University’s Gospel Choir and choral groups from the Philadelphia School of the Arts.

The concert is sponsored by UD’s Gospel Choir, a nondenominational group composed of more than 50 male and female University students. Music will include psalms, selections from Hezekiah Walker’s latest CD and traditional favorites such as “Let the High Praise Begin.”

The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call Mary Akhimien at 831-1827.
