History Media Center Computing Site

The new HMC Computing Site is located in 201 Kirkbride Hall and can be accessed by History students and faculty. Equipment available in the lab include: two iMac computers loaded with Adobe CS Design 5.5, iLife 11, iWorks 09, MS Office Suite 11; four older Dell computers loaded with MS Office Suite 2003, 2010 (only two of the Dells have PhotoShop); flat bed scanners, bulk slide scanners, one laser printer, a SmartBoard. A small viewing room/conference room can be scheduled for small groups.

History graduate students and Social Studies Education students may access the lab at any time using the keypad entrance. You will need to review the lab policy manual and sign a compliance form prior to receiving the key code.

If you need assistance using the computer programs you will need to set up an appointment with our knowledgeable staff during normal office hours which are M-F 8:00-4:30.
