| ABOUT ME: |
| |
I'm studying experimentally the dynamics of the airflow above ocean surface waves. These impact the exchanges of energy and mass between the ocean and the atmosphere, and are thus useful for climate modelling as well as shorter term weather forecasting. We generate controlled wind-wave conditions at University of Delaware's large Wind-Wave Facility in Lewes, DE, and investigate near surface dynamics via high resolution PIV.

For fun, I like to go hobie cat sailing and kitesurfing on the Delaware beaches and inland bays. I also enjoy playing the classical guitar, especially composers Tarrega, Sor, Villa-Lobos.
