| The
Air-Sea Interaction Laboratory (ASI Lab) is affiliated
with the Physical
Ocean Science and Engineering (POSE) program in
the College
of Earth, Ocean and Environment (CEOE) at the University
of Delaware. The ASI Lab is led by Associate Professor
of Marine Studies, Dr. Fabrice Veron who is featured
in a short introduction video to the right.
The ASI Lab mainly focuses on research
on surface waves and wave processes including:
- Wave breaking
- Turbulence on both sides of the interface
- Generation of sea-spray
- Rain impact - gas fluxes and wave damping
- Airflow separation
- Air-sea gas fluxes
- Wave impacts on offshore structures
The ASI Lab pioneers field and laboratory research,
along with theoretical and numerical research. For
more information, please contact Dr. Fabrice Veron.
