Alumni Weekend registration
Online registration now open for eighth annual Alumni Weekend, set June 3-5
12:38 p.m., March 18, 2016--Online registration for the eighth annual University of Delaware Alumni Weekend, which will be held Friday, June 3, to Sunday, June 5, is now being accepted.
Some alumni – those who are True Blue Hens or members of the Delaware Diamonds Society – may already have taken advantage of early donor registration.

The 2016 Alumni Weekend will return with a lineup of many crowd-favorites like Friday night’s Dela-bration bash that floods the entire North Green with music, food, drinks and fellow classmates, and Sunday’s Blue Hen 5K Walk/Run starting with the Kids Fun Run.
Blue Hens can also pay tribute to outstanding alumni during this year’s UD Alumni Wall of Fame ceremony, have brunch with their entire family – and YoUDee and Baby Blue – at the new Caesar Rodney Dining Hall, or catch up with fellow classmates during one of the many class reunions.
Those looking for something new will enjoy The Hen Games taking place on the North Green and Harrington Beach or one of the many academic exhibits taking place across campus representing a variety of disciplines – from research that includes a fleet of underwater robots to a swarm of bees.
Also new this year is the Blue Hen Beer Garden, a wine and chocolate pairing and ice skating lessons led by U.S. national champions at the Gold Ice Arena.
For Blue Hens interested in making it a “staycation,” housing options are available in residence halls located on both North and East Campus this year, each within walking distance of The Green.
There will be plenty of opportunities for alumni to learn more about their college and reunite with the organizations their were involved with during their time as a student. Alumni are also encouraged to reacquaint themselves with Delaware by taking a Student Alumni Ambassador-led tour of main campus, grabbing a scoop of ice cream at the UDairy Creamery, visiting an exhibit at Morris Library or one of the three campus museums, taking a scenic stroll through the UD Botanic Gardens or visiting the Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus.
Campus will fill with excitement and laughter when thousands of alumni flock to Newark for this year’s celebration. All alumni are encouraged to register for Alumni Weekend by April 30, to receive the early “hen” price of $50 for Dela-bration. Afterward, prices will increase to $60.
Online event registration will close on May 25, excluding the main events, which will stay open until they are sold out.
