The resources available through the Internet are an integral part of education on our campus. Through the campus network, the campus community can access world-wide resources.

Electronic Mail
All members of the campus community are eligible for an electronic mail (e-mail) account. E-mail is the official way that the University communicates with its students, staff, and faculty. It's easy to activate your account.

Wireless Access
Wireless access points are available in over 100 buildings on campus: in academic buildings, the Morris Library, and in public places such as the student centers, dining halls, and residence hall common areas. Wireless access points are also available outdoors on the Green and in the Mentors' Circle.

Computer Help
Help for computing problems is available through the IT Help Center. Members of the campus community can find online documentation on its web site or call the Help Center at 302-831-6000 to get help with problems that they have been unable to resolve on their own.

Another unit available for help is the Technology Solutions Center (TSC). Members of the campus community can make an appointment to bring their computer to the TSC for network connection problems. And the TSC provides pre-purchase consulting to those interested in purchasing their own computer.

On-Campus Computing Sites
The University maintains a number of on-campus computing sites. Some of these sites are general sites, while others are specific to certain departments.

Network Security
The University takes network security very seriously. Educational campaigns such as the Code of the Web, Protecting Personal Non-Public Information, and Computer Security make it easy for students and staff to maintain the security of their computers and our network.
