Processing Details
- speed of sound corrections using temperature from ADCP sensor
- fixed misalignment of 44.1 degrees applied prior to processing
- 10-minute data windows within which data are sorted;
- the variable with the largest variance is used to
create an index table (subroutine "indexx" of Press et al, 1996; p.330)
which is used to prune data prior to averaging;
- and largest and smallest 10%
of the data are discarded as outliers most likely reside there;
