Welcome to the Philosophy Department
at the University of Delaware The UD Department of Philosophy has expertise and active scholarship across the core areas of philosophy. We offer an undergraduate major and minor in philosophy as well as a minor in religious studies. We are also part of the Cognitive Science Program, which offers an MA in Linguistics and Cognitive Science, and are active in the Interdisciplinary Ethics Program. The department is committed to service in the university, in the profession, and in the community.
