Commemorative WNIT T-shirt on sale at game The T-shirts, featuring YoUDee on a basketball and the WNIT logo on the front and the tournament bracket on the back, will be sold at Thursday nights opening-round game at The Bob and online through the University Bookstore web site at [www.udel.edu/bookstore]. After the game, the shirt will be available at all of the Bookstores campus locations. Cost is $16.98. Fans can chart the teams progress and fill in the brackets during the tournament on the commemorative shirts. Special fabric markers will be on sale at Thursday night's game and at Bookstore locations. UDs womens basketball team, making its third appearance in the postseason WNIT in the last four years, will play St. Johns University at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 17, in the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center. The winner of Thursdays game will meet the winner of the contest between the University of Maine and West Virginia University, which will be played on Friday. Second-round sites will be determined after the first-round games. The first 100 UD students to arrive at The Bob Thursday night will get in free with a valid UD identification card. The second 100 UD students will be admitted for just $1 apiece, cash only. To help students get to the game, the Student Activities Office is sponsoring a special shuttle bus to The Bob, running continuously starting at 6:15 p.m. and continuing until one hour after the game ends. The loop will begin at the Perkins Student Center at 6:15, and the loop stops are, in order, Perkins Student Center, University Courtyard, School Lane Garden Apartments, Smith Overpass, Ray Street, Pencader, Christiana Towers, Rodney/Dickinson, Towne Court Apartments and South College Avenue, in front of the Delaware Field House. To calculate the time to catch the bus, riders should add approximately five minutes for each incremental stop in the loop. Tickets for the game are on sale now at UD box offices in The Bob and at the Trabant University Center. Cost $6 for UD students and children 17 and under and $9 for adults.
