Police investigate robbery of student
8:21 a.m., Aug. 28, 2008--Newark Police are investigating the armed robbery of a UD student that occurred at 11 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, in the area of Winslow and Orchard roads in Newark.

The 26-year-old student said two men approached him after leaving a dark-colored passenger car and one of the men pointed a black handgun at him. The second man removed assorted property from him, and the victim was ordered to walk down an adjacent driveway. Both men fled in the vehicle, driving west on Winslow Road. The student was not injured.

The first suspect is described at 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with an athletic build and short hair. The second suspect is in his early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with long hair.
