Serving as a UDSAA is a great way to network and foster relationships within the University’s extensive alumni population, educate peers on UD as a philanthropy, gain invaluable skills, build a résumé, find a mentor and show Blue Hen pride.
UDSAAs foster connections between alumni and students by interacting with alumni and by encouraging students to consider their role as future alumni. This includes:
- Supporting the mission and goals of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
- Encouraging school spirit and participation in campus life.
- Engaging with alumni through various events.
- Serving as liaisons to the UD Alumni Association and senior administration.
- Educating UD peers on the importance of alumni impact through philanthropy at UD.
DAR is looking for positive and confident future members with strong communication skills who are reliable and dependable. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in educating peers about philanthropy and share an overwhelming pride in the University of Delaware.
Those who are passionate about the University and feel compelled to lead members of the student body to become Blue Hens Forever are encouraged to apply for a UDSAA position today.
