UD seniors invited to submit Homecoming Court nominations

8:43 a.m., Sept. 15, 2014--Seniors at the University of Delaware are invited to submit nominations for the 2014 Homecoming Court.

UD’s Office of Alumni Relations and the Student Homecoming Committee are looking for two seniors who embrace UD spirit and embody the UD brand to be the next Homecoming king and queen.

Students may nominate themselves or friends for this honor. Full application, guidelines and requirements are available on the Students page of the Homecoming website.

Deadline for applications, videos and signatures is Monday, Sept. 22, so those who plan to nominate a candidate should do so promptly. 

The Homecoming king and queen election, in which the entire student body votes for their favorite nominees online through the Homecoming website, will be open for one day only on Friday, Oct. 17. 

The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 18.
