University to hold Fall Career Fair at Bob Carpenter Center
3:08 p.m., Sept. 18, 2012--The University of Delaware Fall Career Fair will be held from noon to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The Fall Career Fair is UD's largest career fair for students of all majors and all degree levels, with more than 200 employers registered to attend.
May 23: Ocean Currents Lecture
May 24: Adelante
The fair is designed to help identify UD talent for full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities, and to match students with appropriate employers.
The Fall Career Fair offers opportunities for all students -- freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. “It is never too early to start networking and making connections with employers,” a UD Career Services Center representative said.
The 2012 Fall Career Fair has been enhanced with the addition of several new opportunities, including the incorporation of the Volunteer Fair through which community organizations provide information for prospective volunteers.
Additionally, on-site interviews will be taking place during the fair and there will be several employer branding events.
The platinum sponsor, JPMorgan Chase and Co., has already started holding events for students in conjunction with the Career Services Center in preparation for this event. Check out the Career Services events schedule for more information.
This year’s featured employers include: Bohler Engineering, Brandywine Zoo, Christiana Care Health System, DuPont Company, ExxonMobil Corporation, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Johnson and Johnson, Peace Corps, PepsiCo / Pepsi Beverages Company, Procter and Gamble, Prudential Financial, PwC, Supreme Court of the United States, Target Stores, Teach For America, and the US Army.
