Campus community invited to participate in RideShare Rewards program

11:45 a.m., Aug. 8, 2012--The University of Delaware campus community is invited to participate in the new RideShare Rewards program being offered by the Clean Air Council in partnership with DART's RideShare Delaware.

The new pilot program offers incentives for commuters who switch from driving alone to a more environmentally friendly form of transportation, including walking, biking, public transit or carpooling.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

Commuters who log at least 20 qualified clean commute days over a three-month period are eligible to earn a $50 gift card. Greenhouse gas emissions reductions will be calculated through RideShare Delaware’s online commute tracking system.

Those who want to participate can go to the RideShare Delaware website. Hard copies of RideShare Rewards applications also will be available at UD's Parking Services office in the Perkins Student Center.

RideShare Rewards is being funded through a Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative grant received from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
