WEB Site evaluation assignment due. 

22 September Graduate School or Professional School or neither? Presentations by Prof. Brian Bahnson ('applying to graduate school') and Prof. David Usher ('medical and pharmacy schools').

29 September Identifying and evaluating useful websites, constructing a search strategy, selecting and searching in appropriate databases Presentation by Catherine Wojewodzki, UD Library, meet in room 116A, Morris Library
6 October Report on job hunt. Being connected with the profession: Meetings, memberships, subscriptions.  Job assignment due. Outline or Concept Map for planned web-site due.
13 October Principles of effective oral communication.
20 October Effective visual communication & the nature and importance of evaluation. Team WEB sites need to be activated by Oct. 23.
Class web-site evaluations due by 8:00 PM on Mon, Oct 25.
27 October Discussion of web-sites - suggested improvements
3 November Ethical Issues
Assignment of Seminar Presentation Schedules.
Case study, "Organic Reactions," and list of Scientific Ideals provided. Final Web-site revisions activated by November 3 and summary of changes made e-mailed to instructor.
10 November Group presentations and evaluation Team presentations, both sections meet together (1:25 - 3:20 PM) in 219 Brown Lab
