HETEROJUNCTION c-Si SOLAR CELLS

The Institute of Energy Conversion has an immediate opening for a post doctoral researcher to participate in our Si research program to develop heterojunction c-Si solar cells.   This is a one year appointment with the potential to be extended for two additional years.  Applicants should have direct experience in c-Si solar cell processing, device characterization and modeling and have completed their PhD degree requirements in engineering, physics or a related field.

The Institute of Energy Conversion of the University of Delaware conducts research and development of thin-film and crystalline photovoltaic solar cells for the conversion of sunlight into electricity.  Our multi-disciplinary research team, in collaboration with University faculty and students, carries out research for government and industry aimed at developing photovoltaic electricity as a practical solution to global energy and environmental problems.
