Lindsay Hoffman, PhD.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Hoffman joined the faculty of the Department of Communication at the University of Delaware in 2007 after receiving her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Her doctoral research examined the contextual effects of media on individuals’ perceptions of public opinion in different communities, combining a national survey with a newspaper content analysis. Her research interests, broadly, focus on media effects in the political and public health arenas; processes of public opinion; and political campaigns.
