Course registration now available at UDSIS 4:28 p.m., Nov. 15, 2006--The new University of Delaware student information system, UDSIS, is now available for student use. The system replaces SIS+ for accessing all student records. Using UDSIS, students will be able to register for classes, update biographic and demographic information, such as addresses and emergency contacts, make semester payments and view financial aid packages and grades. Because UDSIS is fully web-based, registration is in real time and the response to registration requests is instant. How to register in UDSIS
Fee payment deadlines are Dec. 12 for Winter Session and Jan. 16 for spring semester. To find out about individual registration times, students should look in the top left section of the Student Center page under Enrollment for the Registration Appointment link. Enrollment for independent study, cross-listed and multiple-component courses are handled in new ways, and departmental permits are required for some courses. More details on these topics can be found at [www.udel.edu/registrar/onlinereg]. Honors courses registration remains restricted. For specific information on honors registration, visit [http://honors.udel.edu/courses/regmemo.html]. Students who do not complete prerequisite courses during fall semester for a subsequent course for which they have already registered will lose that enrollment at a later date. Since UDSIS registration is in real time, students may want to check back to see if a previously closed class has become available, or if a new section has been added or a previously listed section has been cancelled.
