Park Place Apartments kidnapping investigated 12:06 p.m., March 21, 2007--Newark Police are investigating the alleged domestic kidnapping of a 28-year-old woman and her five children, ages 4-12, from the Park Place Apartments in Newark. Police said the victim called a friend between 10-11 p.m., Monday, March 19, to say she and the children had been kidnapped from her residence in the Park Place Apartments on Lehigh Road by her former boyfriend. Police identified the man as Ruben Santana-Millan of the 700 block of Robinson Lane in Wilmington. Using the global positioning system device on the victim's cell phone, police were able to locate her in Indiana. They contacted local authorities there, who found the victim and her children unharmed and who took the suspect into custody. Newark Police are seeking witnesses to the kidnapping.
