Police investigate unlawful sexual contact

12:53 p.m., March 8, 2007--University Police are investigating an incident of unlawful sexual contact involving a visitor to the campus.

The incident occurred between 4-5 a.m., Sunday, March 4, in the Russell Residence Hall. A woman, who was staying overnight with a friend in the residence hall, was in bed when a male University student jumped in bed with her. The suspect fondled her breasts and attempted to place his hand down her pants.

University Police have identified the suspect, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Haug at (302) 831-2222.
