Four arrested in robbery at Newark's Quality Inn

12:09 p.m., March 28, 2007--Newark Police have arrested four people on charges stemming from a robbery that occurred at about midnight, Tuesday, March 20, at the Quality Inn on South College Avenue near the I-95 interchange.

Police arrested Djuan D. Frazier, 26, of New Castle, and Alysha J. Andrews, 19, of Newark, in conjunction with the crime last week. Two additional suspects, Paul A. Cooper, 20, of Newark, and Jamie L. Whittaker, 19, of Elkton, surrendered to police on Tuesday, March 27, and were charged with robbery in the second degree.

Police said two victims, ages 17 and 18, reported that they were robbed at gunpoint in their room at the Quality Inn by the four suspects. Cash and other items were stolen from the pair.
