Newark Police arrest man for burglaries

William E. Caulk III

5:29 p.m., March 9, 2007--Newark Police have arrested William E. Caulk III of Delaware City after a lengthy investigation into a series of burglaries and related offenses at School Lane Apartments in Newark, beginning in mid-February.

When Caulk was arrested at 4 a.m., Thursday, March 8, he was in possession of illegal narcotics. He has been charged with burglary, trespassing, theft and drug-related offenses and is being held at the Howard Young Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
