I-95 ramp to Route 273 closed Nov. 16-17 4:42 p.m., Nov. 16, 2004--The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced a change to the paving work for the ramp from I-95 southbound to Route 273 eastbound. The location will be closed from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, and Wednesday, Nov. 17, for bridge deck resurfacing. There are two potential detour routes to follow. The preferred route for eastbound Route 273 is to take I-95 southbound past Route 273 to Route 896; back to I-95 northbound to exit at Route 273 eastbound. The other alternate detour is to take Route 1 southbound to Route 273 eastbound. The ramp was originally scheduled to be closed from 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 20. However, the work was postponed over the weekend due to cold weather conditions.
