Benefit for animal victims of Katrina Sept. 11

11:56 a.m., Sept. 8, 2005--A “Doggie Swim” and silent auction to benefit Noah's Wish, an organization that rescues and shelters animals affected by natural disasters and reunites pets with their owners, are slated for 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Lane Swimming Club, 2100 Shipley Road, Wilmington.

Donations of $10 per dog to swim in the pool are requested. Checks should be made payable to Noah's Wish.

All dogs must be friendly toward other dogs and people. Bring plastic bags to clean up after your dog(s). All dogs must be leashed when not in the pool.
