Special events welcome returning students

‘First Night at UD,’ part social event, part orientation, featured a dance in the garage of the Trabant University Center, as well as music, games, arts and crafts, free food and prizes.
10:03 a.m., Sept. 2, 2005--After moving into their residence halls and apartments Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27-28, new and returning students were welcomed to UD with learning events and a wide range of entertainment, such as a campus ghost tour, live music, a dance in the Trabant University Center parking garage, comedians, a hypnotist, swimming, games and movies. Events included First Night at UD, Campus Breakout, New Student Convocation and Student Activities Night, which attracted a crowd of more than 2,000 students to learn about the range of Registered Student Organizations on the campus.
