'Road to Richmond Sale' set Oct. 13-14

1:21 p.m., Oct. 12, 2005--When the Fightin’ Blue Hens football team faces off against the University of Richmond on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Richmond, Va., True Blue fans will want to be sure they’re geared up and decked out properly for the game.

The University Bookstore is doing its part for school spirit by discounting all UD insignia merchandise for its “Road to Richmond Sale” set for Thursday and Friday, Oct. 13-14. All UD insignia merchandise will be discounted 30 percent at the University Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center, the YoUDee Shop in the Trabant University Center and HenEssentials in the lobby of Fred Rust Ice Arena.

“The ‘Road to Richmond Sale’ is so fans heading down to Richmond can show their UD pride at the game,” Jennifer Galt, bookstore manager, said.

UD Student Centers and the athletics department have secured 10 coach buses to take UD students to Saturday's football game, which has been moved to Richmond Stadium because of unplayable field conditions on Tubby Raymond Field in Delaware Stadium.
