Police investigate delivery robbery

12:58 p.m., Oct. 3, 2005--Newark Police are investigating the robbery of a Wings-To-Go delivery driver at 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, in the 100 block of Madison Drive in Newark.

Police said the suspect is a male about 18-25 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark colored pants.

Police said the suspect confronted the victim after the delivery was made, displayed a handgun and demanded money. After an undisclosed amount of cash was handed over, he fled the area on foot. There were no injuries in the incident.
