‘Lowest Price Guarantee’ at UD Bookstore 4:48 p.m., Aug. 22, 2005--As a service to students, the University Bookstore has instituted a “Lowest Price Guarantee” for textbooks, which matches prices at local bookstores. “If a student finds a book at a lower price in a local store, he or she can inform us, and we will verify the price and meet it. If the book already has been purchased, we will refund the difference,” Jennifer Galt, UD Bookstore manager, said. “This is a benefit we are happy to offer to students who are looking for value when purchasing textbooks.” The offer, which does not extend to online book prices, ends Friday, Sept. 9.
