UD N.J. license plate auction set Sept. 6-14

3:51 p.m., Aug. 26, 2005--University of Delaware alums who live and drive in the Garden State can show their Fightin’ Blue Hen spirit by sporting their very own official UD license plates for New Jersey.

An online auction at [www.udel.edu/alumni] for the first 100 UD NJ license plates will run from Tuesday, Sept. 6, through Wednesday, Sept. 14. Bidding for the plates will start at $60.

Individuals with winning bids will receive an application in the mail. Tags will be sent approximately four to six weeks from receipt of payment and completed application forms.

After the auction, applications will be available by phone or e-mail at [UD-Plate@udel.edu]. UD license plates also are available for Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
