Memorial service for Mary Hempel set Oct. 11

11:08 a.m., Oct. 4, 2005--A celebration of the life of the late Mary Hempel, assistant to the president and director of the Office of Public Relations, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center.
Ms. Hempel, who worked at the University for more than 34 years, died Sept. 30.
The program is open to the community.
The celebration has been rescheduled from Oct. 13, which is Yom Kippur.
