Hurricane Katrina ‘Family Links Registry’

5:16 p.m., Sept. 7, 2005--To help link families with loved ones who were in the path of Hurricane Katrina, the American Red Cross has established a “Family Links Registry” on its web site at [www.redcross.org].

To register yourself or a missing relative, or to view the existing lists of registrants, click on the “Go to Family Links Registry” link at the top right corner of the page.

Because of the extent of the damage and the number of people displaced, concerned friends and family members are encouraged to consult the list, as it will be updated continuously. A toll-free hotline also is being established for those who do not have Internet access.

For information about how to assist the American Red Cross in helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina, visit [www.redcrossdelmarva.org].
