Route 1 E-Z Pass lane closure at Dover Toll Plaza The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced that the northbound Route 1 highway-speed E-Z Pass lanes at the Dover Toll Plaza will be closed from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4. The closure is needed to perform final adjustments to violation cameras.

9:35 a.m., Aug. 2, 2005--The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced that the northbound Route 1 highway-speed E-Z Pass lanes at the Dover Toll Plaza will be closed from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4. The closure is needed to perform final adjustments to violation cameras.

All traffic will be diverted to the cash lanes at the plaza. E-Z Pass works at all toll lanes including the cash lanes. Future lane closures may be necessary to achieve optimal license-plate camera adjustments.

The scheduled rain date for this closure is Tuesday, Aug. 9.

DelDOT asks motorists traveling through a work zone to pay careful attention to the traffic control devices present:

Warning signs will let you know what to expect;
Drums or cones will delineate your path of travel;
Flag persons will help direct you along the way; and
Slow down and expect the unexpected.
