UD jury expert Hans on C-SPAN Friday 1:45 p.m., April 29, 2005--Valerie P. Hans, University of Delaware professor of criminal justice and a noted expert on juries, will appear on the C-SPAN program Close Up@Newseum at 7 p.m., Friday, April 29. The topic of the program will be “Law Day 2005: The American Jury System” with a focus on jury bias, particularly as a result of media coverage in high profile trials. In addition to Hans, guests will be Catherine Crier of Court TV and Marjorie Fargo of Jury Services Inc. The moderator will be John Milewski of the Close Up Foundation.
