Police arrest 2 for attempted robbery 8:51 a.m., Oct. 31, 2005--Newark Police arrested two juveniles for the attempted robbery of a man at his home on Madison Drive in Newark around 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27. The juveniles confronted the man in front of his residence, displaying a black, semiautomatic handgun. As they approached him, he fled the area on foot. The suspects were located a short time later and taken into custody by Newark Police. The juveniles were charged with robbery in the first degree, conspiracy, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited. They were committed to the New Castle County Detention Center in default of secured bond.
